Blended Citizen’s First Winner, Gunny Highway, Shines in Maiden Victory at Remington Park

Oklahoma City, OK — The promising young Oklahoma accredited sire Blended Citizen celebrated his first winner on September 14, 2024, as his two-year-old colt Gunny Highway captured a victory in Race 1 (watch here) at Remington Park. The maiden special weight race, contested over 7 1/2 furlongs on the turf against open company, saw Gunny Highway surge to the lead in a pulling away finish.

In his debut, Gunny Highway trained by Ronnie Cravens of Diamond C Racing broke sharply from the gate and quickly settled into a comfortable stalking position. Under the guidance of jockey Harry Hernandez , the colt made a bold move on the far turn, accelerating down the stretch to win convincingly by 2 lengths.
